Frequently Asked Questions
Will I need to use my email address to sign up?
Yes, it’s a private community, so you’ll need to register with an email address. However, your email address will remain private from other community members (they won’t see it), and you can use a username in place of your real name if you prefer.
Is the community actually free?
Yes. After considering all the options, we decided to make the community free so cost wasn’t a barrier to joining. To help cover our costs, we occasionally run paid events and programs or work with trusted brand sponsors.
Why did you build the community on a platform rather than using a Facebook/Discord/Reddit group?
There are some amazing Discord/Facebook/Reddit groups out there. But we wanted to do something a little different. Our community (built with Circle.so) is private, just for women, and offers a safe space — with forums, resources, community product reviews, and more — all organized in a user-friendly way. Plus, there’s a mobile app for it, so you can access it from your phone, just like you can with your other groups.
